If your pet spends a lot of time outdoors, check it for ticks. Ticks are a lot easier to find with fingertips rub rather then trying to look for them. Put on latex gloves to avoid direct contact with the tick and rub your fingertips through your pet’s coat. Hold tight the tick with tweezers as close to your pet's skin as possible and pull the tick out using a steady pulling motion Dispose the tick to a fire or squish it in a tissue and through it to the toilet After removing the tick, Put some antiseptic ointment on the bite
